ViceVersa PRO will replicate files (= create a copy) from a source folder to one or more targets, on separate internal drives, external drives or on computers over the network LAN or VPN. The replication can happen in one direction or in both directions (=synchronization)

When operating in real-time mode, ViceVersa PRO will monitor the source folder(s) for changes and, as soon as changes are detected, the files that have changed are copied to targets.

This copy operation happens very efficiently without the need of rescanning the source folder to find changes. Even a single change in a million files will be replicated instantaneously. The monitoring happens via a native Windows API and it has no impact on the overall system performance, even if the file replication is happening in real-time.

With ViceVersa PRO software you can make an exact backup copy of files / folders between windows servers and disks in real-time, for such purposes as high availability, disaster recovery, load balancing, live file server replication, a.k.a. "Source to Target File Mirroring".

The first time it runs, ViceVersa PRO will copy all the files from the source to the target (if the files are not already present in the target). However, after the first run, ViceVersa PRO will only copy detected changes, new and changed files from the source to the target (and optionally files that were deleted from the source are also deleted from the target). With ViceVersa PRO you can have an always up-to-date, exact backup replica of the source to the target, file by file and folder by folder.

This continuous real-time backup operation happens very efficiently without the need of rescanning the source folder(s) to find changes. Even a single change in a million files will be replicated immediately and very efficiently, with no impact on system performance.
