[VVScheduler] Windows 10 Anniversary Update issues (version 1607)

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607) was made available on 2nd August 2016 to the general public. Three problems were found in this Windows 10 update that might impact the VVScheduler:

1) Scheduled tasks in the VVScheduler may show incorrect Next Run Time, Last Run Time, Last Run Result and/or Status.

2)  If the option 'Run only if logged' is NOT set in the scheduling properties, then the scheduled task fails to run.

3) Tasks that are set to repeat every X minutes in VVScheduler may fail to run.

NOTE: All issues are now solved in the latest ViceVersa PRO 2.5 Build 2519 or newer and Windows 10 Creators Update (version 1703) or newer.

Please note that the VVEngine and VVLauncher are NOT affected by these issues. These issues only apply to VVScheduler on Windows 10 Anniversary Update (version 1607).

Running Windows 10 and most recent VV Pro build. Latest Status and Last Run are not displaying properly in VVScheduler. VVScheduler says version 2.0.0.2 (2003-2005). Any fix? Thanks.

Reinstall ViceVersa PRO, the VVScheduler should be version 2.1.0.0 in the latest version.

After updating to build 2518, it seems we no longer have the option to schedule vice versa when the user is not logged in. The "run only if logged in" flag is selected automatically.

Windows 10 no longer supports that option. Alternatively you can use our VVEngine add-on and run it as a Windows service:

I've found a workaround for Build 2518 on Windows 10 (v1607) that allows ViceVersa to be scheduled when user is not logged in:

1. Set up your scheduling task using VV Scheduler.
2. Open Windows Task Scheduler and find the entry that VV Scheduler has created - Open Properties (General Tab)
3. Select "Run whether user is logged in or not"
4. Select: Configure for Windows10
5. Click OK and enter password - close Windows Task Scheduler
6. The VV Task will no longer be visible in VV scheduler but if necessary can subsequently be edited and manipulated via Windows Task Scheduler.
