Hi,

We are using a fully licensed version of VVEngine and have had it running for a couple of weeks, running 3 profiles.

A problem has started where the VVEngine interface does not load into the web browser, the broswer just hangs on a white screen.

Is there some way of reseting the VVEngine process to try and get the interface working in the browser?

Hi - check the file VVEngine.log for more info. Are you connecting from a remote PC?

The VVEngine.log looks like VVEngine is running OK. The VVEngine interface just does not load into the browser

We are not connecting from a remote machine. We are connecting through the browser on the local machine with address

http : // 127 . 0 . 0 . 1 : 8001 (spaces added to address to allow me to post it)

All was working OK, we did add some folders to two of the profiles yesterday. Is it possible that this may have caused the problem? Is it possible to stop and restart the VVEngine process without causing too much damage?

Yes, go to the VVengine installation folder and double-click on the file 'stop vvengine.vbs'
Check that VVEngine stops in the VVEngine.log
In the Windows Task Manager check that there are no more VVEngine processes running and also no ViceVersa.exe processes. If there are, stop them with the task manager.
Then start VVEngine again.
