Hi,
Everything is fine, I love this software, but there's something I don't get, may I ask a question ? Here is my profile :
Folders
- Source: "R:\iTunes Music\"
- Target: "S:\iTunes Music\"
- Include Subfolders: Yes
Comparison
- Comparison Type: Size and Timestamp
Execution
- Method: Backup (Mirror Source to Target)
- Log File: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ViceVersa PRO 2\log1.log" (max 1000 KB)
- Log only summary and errors
- No archive for deleted/replaced source files
- No archive for deleted/replaced target files
- No empty source/target check
- Replace newer target files with older source files (backup only)
So, I run Execute... and after a while, the program stop and ask me if I want to overwrite a file.. Well, it's an mp3 who was already there, but I changed the artwork or something. WHY ViceVersa ask me that ? Since I want a Mirror, obviously if there's been changes whitin the file, I wanted to change it, that's the point
After a few like these, I just pressed "Yes to all". But if possible, it would be nice to know why it happens (and how I can prevent it to appear). It's weird, I feel a bit stupid, sorry... and thanks for the help !
In short : asking for a mirror source to target, it assumed that every changed file would be changed without asking.
Sorry for my terrible english writing,
Have a nice day, and again : bravo for this fabulous software.

Hi!
Thank you for your comments.
All message warnings can be removed by activating the option:
No confirmations in the Profile Settings->Execution
We have this extra warning to make sure the user knows that the older file will be overwritten.
thanks! _________________ --
