I have two identical Windows Server 2003 machines that have a folder C:\UserData\ and it contains the profiles for this customer's employees. The two servers are part of an Active Directory and can talk back and forth.

Which sync method would you go about using to make sure when the employees login to either server, that they see their same desktop and documents? I have it setup with Synchronization right now and to preserve the NTFS folder/file permissions.

What happens if a user gets disconnected by accident during the middle of their terminal session while writing a Word Document that is unsaved, and reconnects to the other server?

In the Windows Server Group Policy Editor, can you force a profile to Log Off once the server notices its been Disconnected?
