I am trying to sync my computer with a network drive. During the comparison process I get a message that reads "Z:\Admin Dept\directions.doc in source (Compressed) does not have the required extension “.gz”. Please delete or move this file using windows explorer. Aborting comparison."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have activated the option to compress files in source "Z:\Admin Dept\" Once this option is activated, ViceVersa expects all files in source to be compressed. The message you get is saying that ViceVersa found at least one file "Z:\Admin Dept\directions.doc" that is not compressed. You have two options: you can remove this file from the source or you can decide not to compress the source.
