My ideal solution would be to mirror a source drive to a target, so that if any files are changed/deleted from the source, they are changed deleted from the target.

However, if any files where changed/deleted from the target, they would not be modified or deleted on the source.

I have played around with the program a bit, and i have tried mirroring a source drive to a target, there are already mirrored files on the target which have been previously copied from the source, but I am told that files need to be copied even though (as far as I am aware) they are already on the target.

If you could give me some help with the above, it would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

I would try one of the Replication or Backup methods. Replication and Backup methods are one-way and do not change the source if target changes.

OK, cool. So for example, if a file was deleted off the source, would a backup or replicate delete it from the target?

P.S. I've just ran a backup, some files had been deleted from the source drive but weren't deleted from the source. How do I fix this?

A backup yes, but a replication no.

OK, well I ran a backup last night, the source had over 40GB deleted from it, but the files weren't deleted from the target?

Any ideas why not?
