I get the following message with Shadow Copies enabled:
Volume shadow copy creation failed for X:. The system cannot find the path specified.
Software version: ViceVersa Pro 2.0, Build 2010
"vssadmin list shadows" returns no shadows present in the system
"vssadmin list writers" all writers are stable
"vssadmin list providers" returns MS Shadow Copy provider 1.0 only |

I am getting the same error, and see the same results from the "vssadmin" commands. The disk in question in my case is drive "d:" which is a local NTFS partition. |

I see 2 Information entries in the System Log
"The Volume Shadow Copy service was successfully sent a start control."
"The Volume Shadow Copy service entered the running state."
I see 1 Information entry in the Application Log
"Server resumed execution after being idle 8091 seconds: user activity awakened the server. This is an informational message only. No user action is required."
And I see the VVengine error in the Application Log
"[D:\_DataNoSync\VVProData\Profiles\DataOutlook.fsf] Profile finished. Result "(Manual Run) - Execution completed with some file copy/delete errors.". Exit Code: 3."
These are the only entries with a timestamp close to the time of execution of the profile.
Thanks. |
