Hi there,
I am quite new to Vice Versa so please bare with me.
Is there any way of removing a folder structure whilst copying data?
My problem is that I am trying to sync data every night from a set of folders which contain certain files, but I do not want the same structure in the destination directory, just the files that are being copied.
Many thanks in advance
Stephen. |

Hi - if you want to exclude certain subfolders of source in VV PRO 2, you can use the subfolder filters. Click on 'change profile settings' on the main window, then on the left side click on subfolder filters. There you can add exclude filters. _________________ --

Thats not quite what I am trying to do.
I want to extract certain files from hundreds of sub folders (which I can do with the file filter) and copy them to a single folder with no sub folders contained in it. I do not want to exclude any folders from the job as this may miss some of the files that I am trying to copy.
Hope that helps.

hi -sorry I misunderstood your post. I think you are referring to what is called a "flat" target. But that is currently not possible with ViceVersa, sorry! _________________ --
