After an apparent successful synch of 4 folders between two XP computers, all files within folder EmailArchive dissappeared on both computers- yet I can see them if I do a Windows Search for the files on the target computer. When I run W again, it "sees" these source files and wants to sync them again, yet according to windows this directory is empty. I did not have logging set so don't have the post-mortem. Here is the profile I have set:

Folders

- "C:\Data\" <to> "\\hippocampus\data\" (Include Subfolders)
- "c:\talks\" <to> "\\hippocampus\talks\" (Include Subfolders)
- "c:\EmailArchive\" <to> "\\hippocampus\EmailArchive\" (Include Subfolders)
- "c:\photos\" <to> "\\hippocampus\photos\" (Include Subfolders)
- Exclude files: "thumbs.db"
Comparison
- Comparison Type: Size and Timestamp
Execution
- Method: Synchronization
- Tracking Database: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ViceVersa PRO 2\vvdb2.tdb"
- Log File: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ViceVersa PRO 2\log2.log"
- Archive deleted/replaced source files to: "C:\Archive\"
- Archive deleted/replaced target files to: "\\hippocampus\archive\"

I will try to restore these files, but what is going on?

Hi

I see you have activated the archive feature for source and target so you will have copies of your source file in "C:\Archive\"

Can you send a screenshot of the comparison window to support@tgrmn.com ?

thanks
