Dumbest. Question. Ever. Is this a .cmd file or VBS? |

Make sure to change the fields indicated by ***** to fit your specific situation. The quotes are required so make sure you have them in place.
Let me know if you run into problems.

I am attempting to use your .vbs script and have put in the appropriate info where the "*****" are but I keep getting this message:
Script : c:\~\new quicken_manual_end.vbs
Line: 73
Char: 1
Error: The transport failed to connect to the server
Code: 80040213
Source: CDO.Message.1 |

I did make sure to use my provider's correct smtp-server name and still get the error message. Any more suggestions? |

Make sure your anti-virus software or firewall is not blocking access to SMTP. Check your e-mail setup to verify port and mail protocol....
Which Windows OS are you using? _________________ --

I finally got the email script to work with the kind assistance of the one who wrote the basic script.
If you have a ZoneAlarm firewall, it seems you must disable the outbound mailsafe protection for the script to work properly. |

Do you plan on implementing this type of feature in a future update? |

This is really a big deal that you dont have any kind of paging or e-mail notification. We have SMTP but I dont really want to have to script out a way to be warned if something doesnt work. |

Hi! In the short term we do not plan to add e-mail notification to VV: it is quite easy to setup a custom script that sends you an e-mail at the end of sync. If you want to try using one of the scripts on this forum I can support you if needed. _________________ --
