I would like to compare one folder with subfolder to another folder. Currently when I run VV it disaplays that there are unique files because it is looking for a corresponding sub folder in the Source directory which really doesn't help me move the correct files without adding every single sub folder as a source itself. Example:
Source: C:\updates (include Subfolders)
Target: C:\Setup (include Subfolders)
There are two different versions of ESV.dat.
-The old one is in C:\setup
-The new one is in C:\updates\3.0
When the results come back and I select the View: Only Newer and Older it does not show the different ESV.dat files because it see's them as unique due to the folder structure.
I'm hoping there is a switch somewhere to aid in this function. |

Hello, VV will not match files across subfolders.... a file is considered matched if it is stored in the same relative position under source and target... _________________ --
