Completion Notification

Is there any way you can get a notificatin message when a backup is complete? If not is there a log file you can open to review the status of a backup?

I want a way for someone to check the status of the backup without starting the application.

It is quite possible that you can place the log file on the users desktop. You would need to use the full UNC path. You can also enable the log file to clear the current content so you only have the latest data. I don't beleive VV currently sends E-mail notifications. I hope this helps.

Currently VV does not support sending e-mails, but you can send e-mail at the end of execution using a custom script see: http://www.tgrmn.com/web/forum/viewtopict253.htm

A log file can be setup in the profile settings, under execution.
