I have a VPN setup with NetGear ProSafe VPN Client and can access it fine via Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection. I am trying to backup files from the office to my home computer via VV and when I try to locate the source path on the VPN via VV, I cannot see it. Is there anything special that I need to do to enable VV to be able to see the VPN connection? Thanks!

What are the remote server name and the share name ? You should be able to access your home folder using a UNC path eg \\server\share\ and you should be able to map a network drive in Windows Explorer pointing to the UNC path.

I am sorry, but I am not very familiar with UNC path and the technicalities of VPN. Can you tell me how I can locate the the remote server name and the share name?

Also, how do I find out if I can access my home folder using a UNC path eg \\server\share\ and how do I map a network drive in Windows Explorer pointing to the UNC path?

Thanks in advance. I am currently trying out the software, but based on what I have seen so far, I LOVE IT! And will be purchasing shortly.
