I am looking to set up a automated process to copy new data that is generated in the last 12 hours to a empty folder. What I am doing is exporting data to a file (the file name is unique) and then transferring to a empty folder on a FTP server. A vender at some point will login to the FTP server, copy and delete the file. I need to keep the old exported file as history record in the exported (or source) folder. The only file I need is the newest file. Is there a way to do this with ViceVersa Pro?

I am not looking for FTP support. I am looking to see if ViceVerse is able to copy the way I wrote. To Re-interate, I need to copy a new file to a empty folder (target) while keeping older files at the sorce folder. i.e. the sorce folder will have 10 to 15 files in it but the target will have at any time the newest file from the sorce folder.

Does the target folder need to be a new folder each time or always the same folder with only the newest file?
VV can be setup with file filtering where old files are excluded. But still you will need to manually change the profile each time... I do not think this can be automated with ViceVersa. _________________ --
