Double asterisks

I have an old version (1.3) that works fine, but I'll be upgrading soon.

Why do I get a file preceded with double asterisks that won't automatically sync, but I can manually sync it? What do those asterisks mean? See pic below.

Hi, ViceVersa marks file conflicts in the comparison window with a ** in front of the name, please see more info here:
