For some reason now the C drive is running at 100% to the point that the computer is locking up all other process.
This is now a major issue as the computer becomes unusable when Vice Versa is running.
Windows 11 latest version
Vice Versa Build 6012 - latest version
Computer itself if more than adequate with these specs:
AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7985 64 cores
256GB Memory Sticks
The C drive is neither the source nor the target in this backup job.
I do not see any reason for the C drive to be barely solicited.
Logging is ON - Summary Only - Empty log -
No confirmation on overwrite
No compression
Performance
Priority default
Copy buffer size increased to 1048576 out of 256GB Memory sticks
No rescan options= none
Multithreading option
Prefetch = Yes
Multithread sorting = YES
All other options are = Auto |

If the C: drive is neither the source nor the target for the profile but still experiences constant access when running ViceVersa, I suspect the issue may be related to memory management and the swap file.
Does the C: drive have sufficient free space? A low amount of available space could contribute to performance issues.
Additionally, try disabling multi-threaded copying for the profile to determine whether an excessive number of threads combined with a large copy buffer is causing the problem.
Could you send your profile log to our support team via email for further analysis? Thank you. _________________ --
