In a multi-Source/Target view it would be great to the able to change the background colour of a 'Pair(s)' to be 'Grey' or 'Red' etc and then back to 'None', just as an aide-mémoire
I notice SharePoint Online allows folder colours to be changed, which initially I though wasn't needed, but I find myself using them a lot to 'group' similar items in my mind.
Possible in the future maybe in VV ? |

Hi Alice, this is a great idea, we will investigate if possible to add. Would the background colors appear in the main window and in the comparison window when open? thanks _________________ --

For my needs, the Colours would only be set in the 'Main Window', so I could mark 'pairings' I have dealt with in 'Grey' colour for example.
It would also be good if we could create 'Custom' colours too, but that might be 'pushing it a bit' in terms of your development overhead. |

Thank you, the use-case would be that you open a profile with multiple source / target pairs, select compare this pair only and when you get back you want to know which pairs have been worked on? Or this would be useful to be kept also when closing ViceVersa and restarting? Manual or automatic background colors? _________________ --

No that's not really what I mean. If I wanted to know what's been run and when via the 'Main' window, maybe we could just add a 'Last result' detail above/below the 'pairing' name, eg 'Date-time Run / no. of files processed / Job Duration' that type of thing or that detail could show if I hovered over an individual 'pairing' ?
For background Colours on a 'pairing', I'm suggesting that it would be an entirely manual and personal choice to change them to a colour that means something to me. So I'd right-click on a pairing in the 'Main' window, select 'Colour' and then 'Red / Green / Grey / none' etc |
