I have decided to start compressing the files in my archive (I have never compressed them before).
When I configure Vice Versa to compress archive files, when I next run Vice Versa, will it automatically compress all of the files that already exist in the archive?
If not, how can I compress all of the files that are in the archive?
If I do that, do I need to do it before the first time I run Vice Versa with the new configuration (to compress archive files)?
Thanks |

Hi! I think you will need to start with an empty archive folder. e.g. with no files in it. ViceVersa will not compress existing files in the archive folder, only the added new ones.

I do not think this is possible, sorry.
You could do it manually, by copying the existing archive folder to another folder with ViceVersa, and enable compression while copying it. Then the target is compress and the source can be deleted. _________________ --
