|
|
Hi,
The following is a (modified by me) line from a recent log file. What is reporting the "virus or potentially unwanted software error", please? Is it ViceVersa? It's not the NAS to which the copy attempt was made - well, that is to say there was nothing in the NAS log files about a block. Just curious
"2024-10-15 18:30:25 : Copying file \\?\C:\Users\xyz\abc\xyz.pdf <to> \\xyz\xyz\xyz\xyz.pdf Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software.] [ERROR]"
My OS is Windows 11
Thanks very much |

Hi! thank you for posting on the forum. This error comes directly from Windows. While ViceVersa is copying that file (it does that using API functions in Windows) Windows is blocking the copy and reporting it as an error. xyz.pdf seems to be the file in question. _________________ --
