Hi, I am testing viceversa v6, but have problems -probably me!

This is what I want to do: I have 2 external drives on my PC each 16TB Z & Y.
I have everything (separated in folders Doc, Music, Photo, Video, Learning)
Z is my primary Drive, and Y is a mirror of drive Z.

I thought I was mirroring. What I have now:
Drive Z (locked) so programs cannot find the data! e.g Photos or Video.
Drive Y says Mirrored Drive but only Doc copied

my profile is
Profile File: C:\Users\john_\OneDrive\Documents\ViceVersa PRO\profile1.fsf

Folders
- Source: "Z:\Data\" (Locked)
- Target: "Y:\Data\"
- Include Subfolders: Yes
Comparison
- Comparison Type: Size and Timestamp
Execution
- Method: Backup (Mirror Source to Target)
- No archive for deleted/replaced source files
- No archive for deleted/replaced target files

I pushed buttons I should not have pushed.

1) how to unlock Z?
2) what did I do wrong?

thanks John

Hi John,

you can unlock the source in the profile settings -> folders (there is an icon next to source and target folders)

Locking: You can lock source and/or target by clicking on the lock icon. Once a folder is "locked" ViceVersa will never delete or overwrite files in that folder. This is useful to prevent accidental deletion while operating ViceVersa. For example, when you are replicating a folder from A to B and you know that files in A should never be changed, you should lock folder A: this prevents ViceVersa from ever changing, deleting or overwriting files in the locked folder, even if you accidentally instruct it to do so.
