Hi there.
No 'running as Admin' for VVE3.0 did not work either.
I guess if you don't have a Microsoft 365 Tenant, then I'm not sure any further tests by me would really help.
We have just reverted to using Server Task Scheduler to bring the data down to the Windows Server from SPO, then VVE can move the data on the local LAN to where the staff member needs it to be.
It's not the end of the world. |

Hi Alice,
Not sure if this helps but this is some input.
A script can possible get stuck if there is user input required, such a confirmations needed, Y/N etc.
VVEngine runs as full admin under a certain account, so to test the script under the same exact conditions as VVEngine you would need to start a PowerShell session elevated (as admin) under the same account that is running the VVEngine.
If VVEngine is running a service, it might not have network access, that something else that needs to be considered.

Yes I think all that has been exhausted in the previous posts and set up of a 'Vanilla' 2022 Server.
We're fine now using Windows Task Scheduler, no hangs, data intact after transfer and our internal Customer happy.
We'd rather use VVE, but in this instance that is not to be. If you chaps do not have a 365 Tenant to 'Mirror' our position then there's not a lot that can be done in my view. |
