We have released the new ViceVersa PRO Version 6.
Version 6 includes many new features and improvements, including Multithreaded File Copy and Delete and the new Folder Navigator in the comparison window.
It is the fastest and most powerful version yet.

Notes on Installation
- During installation, ViceVersa PRO 6 will replace the previous version of ViceVersa PRO, if present.
- All profiles and settings will be maintained and compatible, and all VVLauncher, VVEngine and VVScheduler settings too will be maintained.
- ViceVersa PRO 6 will go into trial mode for 30 days. The trial is fully functional.

Upgrading from a Previous Version:
- After 30 days, the new version 6 requires a new license code. You can upgrade from here: Buy Upgrade
- If you have an active maintenance plan, a new license code will be sent to you via e-mail.
- If you haven't received the new license code, please contact us.
- If you have a technician license, you can also use it in the new version 6.
- The technician license can be used with all ViceVersa PRO versions, past and present.

You can install ViceVersa PRO 6 without uninstalling version 2.5, 3, 4, or 5 first. All settings are maintained. Older versions need to be uninstalled first.
All previous settings, including all the profiles, are maintained. All VVEngine, VVScheduler, VVLauncher settings are maintained.

If you install version 6 to evaluate and then want to go back to version 2.5, 3, 4, or 5, you can simply re-install the previous version again,
however you will need to re-enter your license code.

Notes about the new Multithreaded File Copy and Delete
Use multiple threads, up to 128, to copy or delete files. This can speed up
copying and deleting files over the network, SSD drives, or low-latency
connections. Try it to believe it! If you are copying files over LAN, WAN,
SSD, USB, or to the cloud, you will see a massive improvement in speed.
The default value for the number of threads to use is set to Auto, which will
let ViceVersa decide how many threads to use. For network and mapped
drives, ViceVersa will use 16 threads. If deleting local files,
ViceVersa will use as many threads as the number of system cores. To copy files between
local disks, ViceVersa will use the number of system cores if the copy is
between different physical devices. Alternatively, you can specify the
number of threads to use.
