When synchronizing files I often loose the concoction with Linskey wireless router. The connection crashes and then cannot be seen by the router. The only way to correct the problem is to reset the router (unplug it). This only happens with VV and only when using the wireless router - does not occur with direct connections. Any suggestions on how to fix |

Hello - i do not think this is due to ViceVersa. ViceVersa does not do any special that could break the wireless connection. Did you try copying many files with Windows Explorer? _________________ --

I rarely have a problem copying with explorer - sometimes the connection is lost but it come back. The interesting thing when using VV is that the connection does not come back - once it is lost when using VV the compter will nolonger see the wireless router and I am forced to reset the router by turning o ff the power. This tends to happin most commonly with larger files >50,000 kb. I have tried to trouble soot this f or quite some time and certain this only happens with VV. |

The wireless should never drop ... wireless connections *SHOULD* never have problems copying files.... for instance we copy thousand of files over our wireless with no issues. But sometimes there may be some network issues that ViceVersa is stressing.
Did you try setting up a smaller copy buffer in Change Profile Settings->Advanced Settings and/or to "flush the buffer every write". We know Windows Explorer sometimes uses a smaller buffer when copying files.
Also searching on the web for "wireless trouble copying large files" produced some interesting results you may want to check out... since also Windows Explorer is giving you errors, you may be better off focusing on solving the structural issue with the wireless connection. _________________ --

Thanks I will do that
But FYI the problem only happens when copying fiels using VV. For large files I will copy them manual through explorer without problems. |
