Upgraded to v5 -- My Profiles are Missing!

I upgraded from v3.5 (I think) to v5. Two problems

1. Will not accept my registration key. Yes, I know how to copy and paste. No, I did not include the brackets. Tried many times.

2. My profiles have disappeared.

Any help is appreciated.
