|
|
As I re-setup my NAS, I recently did a lot of syncing using ViceVers (V4). I have set my PC to turn off the screen after three minutes. Apparently the PC
- does not notice that VV is running and turns off the screen
- VV stops syncing when the screen is off
I am using Windows 11 2H22 Build 22621.1702
Is this a known issue? |

Hi, ViceVersa, while running a profile, instructs Windows not to go to sleep while the files are copied / compared etc, so this is strange. Is Windows going into Sleep Mode while the screen is off? thanks _________________ --

When the screen is off and I click "ESC", the screen comes back on, but VV has stopped. I can then restart the sync process by clicking execute |

Currently everything seems to be working ok. The screen turned off several times, but VV continues to sync.
I'll keep watching and let you know if the issue occurs again. |

It seems that clicking the ESC key stops the execution. This happens also when the screen is on. Nothing to do with turning on the screen. The issue seems to be that I use the ESC key to turn on the screen. |

Sounds like the cause. I will revert to moving the mouse to make the PC turn on the screen. That seems to have no ill effects |
