Backup of cloud-based Google Drive files

I am trying to backup files held on Google Drive. They are mapped on my Windows machine with a drive letter, using the Google backup and sync software. When I access a file, it downloads from the Google cloud. When I run ViceVersa I get an error message and it isn't able to download the files. In parallel, I have other data held in a similar way on the cloud with OneDrive, and this syncs ok with Vice Versa. Any suggestions on how to get ViceVersa to sync with the mapped network drive of cloud-based Google Drive? Thank you.
