We will be shortly deploying VV as a synchronized file server to our backed up file server in a remote location. The link between the two isnt the best thats why we are setting up an extra file server remotely.

So far it seems that everything will work fine once deployed. However I was thinking about the PST files. After the initial synchronization when all the files are copied VV will only update files that are changed correct?

The reason I am asking this is some users have large PST files 2gb. If these are being synched everytime VV runs it will slow things down considerably.

Say the user does make a change to the PST file and it needs to be synched is there a way to speed this up? Or is there a way to schedule that certain file types i.e. PST files get backed up only at a certain time say after the employees go home.

So far this looks like a very solid product. With 1 or 2 questions out of the way I think we should be all set.

Hi - I think you could setup 2 profiles, 1 with a filter to exclude files over a certain size (see File Filters) and run this second one over night.
