Hello- We got attacked by ransomware. I would like to restore the files from a backup to Volume A and then restore from A to Volume B, where most files are encrypted (no we are not paying the ransom). I would like Vol A files to overwrite their encrypted counterparts in Volume B. What would be the best strategy to do this? Thanks for your help! |

Hi, sorry to hear you were attacked by Ransomware.
ViceVersa makes a mirror copy of all the files, so you could just copy the files back over the encrypted ones.
However make sure the ransomware is 100% gone before restoring the good files to avoid further infection.
I would also keep an extra copy of the good un-encrypted files offline or on non-writable media. _________________ --
