Hi There i'm using Vice Vera to backup data to a alternative path for an external customer . I send on the Log files just to show the scheudle is working. I noticed in the logs, VV notes its unable to release certain privileges on this computer. Can someone explain these warnings.
Thanks |

When you select to copy file and folder NTFS permissions, ViceVersa will try to activate the SeRestorePrivilege on the target computer/disk just in case some files have restricting permissions, eg the account running ViceVersa does not have access to the target files. Activating SeRestorePrivilege will bypass the permissions sets on file. In this case the warning is reporting that ViceVersa can not acquire that privilege. _________________ --
