I am looking for an alternative to my existing copy software that is also able to rename files with duplicate files names.
ie when copying apple .rar the 2nd occurrence gets renamed apple2.rar
Does viceversa have this feature? |

Hi, thank you for posting on the forum. Could you elaborate on how would that work and its use case, e.g. is the second instance conflicting with the first one? thanks! _________________ --

I have a main HD and 3 other HD
C my main HD, e, f, g are HD pulled from other computers
Xyplorer logs all drives showing 317 files named report.txt
I want to create a directory on c called c:\all reports
My problem is that while file managers easily copy all files from every drive
to C: there is a conflict with files with the same name.
Can viceserva automatically rename files when copying all 317 to c:\allreports
automatically appending 1, 2,3 4,5 6, etc to the file name creating
report1.txt
report2.txt
report3.txt |

Thanks, would this be a one-off select and copy files to flat destination or automated with only changed files copied again? _________________ --
