Hi, all.
I have been using viceversa (licensed) for several years.
Now I need to merge the log file produced by its execution with another log, queuing it to the other file.
So I noticed that the log of viceversa is produced in dbcs format (each character occupies 2 bytes, with ascii code and a binary '00'), so by appending this log to another file I have a file with all interspaced characters, making it unreadable).
Is there a way to instruct viceversa to log in normal ascii text (sbcs) instead of dbcs ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards. |

Hi, it is not possible to change that encoding, sorry, the ViceVersa logs are UNICODE (UTF16) based only.

Maybe you could convert ViceVersa logs to UTF8 or the other log to UTF16 before merging, maybe that is a possibility? |
