is VV for me? Copying only new files

I'm sorry if I chose the wrong sub forum. I have a very simple thing that I need to do, but haven't found the perfect solution yet.

I have 2 folders.

Folder 1 must remain pristine and untouched until deleted by an application after a few weeks.

Folder 2 needs to get a copy every NEW file that comes into Folder 1

After about 30 seconds, the file will be processed by an application and subsequently deleted out of Folder 2, but I can't have it get copied again.

90% of the time Folder 2 will be empty and can only have a file if Folder 1 receives a new file.


I tried Robocopy, but it seems that it just copies everything every time which isn't good.

I need it to act like a trigger in oracle when a row is created > insert the info to another table... if that makes sense.

If this is possible, Please point me in the right direction as far as settings go. I just downloaded the trials and will be attempting to set them up this afternoon.
