Hello, I want to connect my mapped onedrive network folder to viceversa but I don't know how. Under, Folders-->Network-->checked connect using the following credentials, it says to type UNC path but How do i type that in? do i need a username/password too ?

I was able to make a onedrive mapped network drive using my CID but just under it, it says "(\\d.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot)( Z: )" What do I do with this info? thanks...

Try 'net use':

I've tried that but the only message i get from command prompt is:
new connections will be remembered. There are no entries in the list

What should I do?

Hi, can't you use the drive letter to access OneDrive?
Are you trying to access it from a different PC?
thanks

so it seems I figured out what the UNC path is which is:

\\d.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot\9**************F

But, when I use this path for source and have enabled "include subfolders", I get an error message which says \\d.docs.live.net@SSL\DavWWWRoot\9**************F not found. Access is denied

Hi , tried on my PC and it works both using the mapped drive, e.g. Y:\ and the UNC path it self : \\d.docs.live.net@SSL\B.......1\

I was also able to connect in ViceVersa using Profile Settings -> Folders -> Network.

Are you running ViceVersa as a standard user or administrator?

I am connecting using my personal account (ex. my name), I do have administrator rights but I'm not using the actual ADMINISTRATOR account

Also, are there any settings that I need to enable ?? maybe I haven't turned on some settings..

I just mapped the OneDrive and used it under the drive letter... no special settings. Can you access that mapped drive with Windows File Explorer and/or other programs?

Is this all accomplished via WebDav ?

If so there's a number of limitations that essentially make OneDrive (OD) unusable as a mapped drive. Just use the OneDrive Sync client (for now).

MS have a KB article re 'OD as a mapped drive', but I can't publish it here due to site restrctions.

Also, I'm not sure if WebDav can read over the 260 NTFS path limit (OD is 400 chars max).

Basically VV needs to support SharePoint Online natively (so that includes OneDrive & Teams) via OAuth 2.0 with MFA allowed....many other products have done so for quite some time !

VV is my favourite, but there's a glaring gap here.

I just found out, when I am transferring files from my local hard drive to onedrive, the date created changes to the current time copied, not the original date created & time. I want to fix that but I don't know how.

And also, I got it to work by not using the drive letter but instead using the UNC path by copying a file and dragging it into Microsoft word and listing the file/folder path as a hyperlink.

I can access the mapped drive in windows file explorer and typing the path name as "Z:\" but I just can't type Z:\ into viceversa It gives an error that the system cannot find the path specified.
