|
|
I’ve got a problem with the feature MONITOR SOURCE to perform a moving files. All works fine about this feature except if the source file (that it’s dumped on the folder by another software) is big: in this case the action of moving the file from source to destination bring only a part of the original file instead the complete file, this because it doesn’t wait and check if the file grows up.
This happens because the file in the source folder isn’t copied in one shot but it’s built from another software in 10-12 seconds.
Can you help me to delay the action triggered by the monitor?
Instead of IMMEDIATELY, I need IMMEDIATELY+ NN seconds.
Thanks |

Hi, in the VVEngine Main Settings there are some options related to this:
After First File Change is Detected...
This option defines the VVEngine behavior when file changes are detected.
You can set the amount of seconds of inactivity to wait, after the first file change is detected, before VVEngine starts a profile. You can also set the total maximum time to wait in seconds.
For example, the default values are 3 and 10, which means that VVEngine will look for a period of inactivity of 3 seconds before starting a profile, after the first file change is detected, but limited to a total maximum of 10 seconds. If after 10 seconds, there is no period of inactivity of 3 seconds, VVEngine will start the profile anyway.
See VVEngine manual PDF on details re how to access the Main VVEngine Settings _________________ --
