Hello and hope you are well...

when using Build 3005, there appears to be some type of 'Cannot create' error when running a long established VV Profile to 'Mirror' data to a USB key.

The same Profile, run from Build 3005, works fine when the 'Destination' is Server 2019 though.

I rolled back to Build 3004 and the Profile works fine in both the above scenarios....odd.

More to follow when I have a bit more time.

so 3005.

I create a new folder on my C: Drive named :

MS PS - Teams PowerShell2

'Mirror' copy via VV Profile to a USB key gives error :

Creating folder "MS PS - Teams PowerShell2\" ... [Can not create "\\?\H:\- Test\- 2021 - MS Powershell\MS PS - Teams PowerShell2\". ] Error.
-- Done: 0 (0) Err: 1 (0) Skipped: 0 (0) Tot: 1 (0) --
-- Average Transfer Rate: 0/Sec -- Elapsed Time: 0 sec

Looks like this relates to creating new folders only....

because if I manually create the MS PS - Teams PowerShell2 folder on the USB Key (ie the Destination) via MS Explorer then run the VV Profile (via Build 3005), VV happily copies all the files present on the Source (a W10 21H1 PC) into this folder on the Destination, but is then unable to create new sub-folders within the newly created MS PS - Teams PowerShell2 folder on the Destination.

Hi! we have pushed a fix for this: it's still build 3005, but digital signature timestamp of June 10 2021.
The issue was to do with using \\?\ for local paths. Should be all good now.

Just tested with 10th June 2021 release.

All working, copies to USB key now good !
