Synology NAS server not accessible using credentials entered

All my profiles have always worked. Nothing has changed. Suddenly, no more.

The following message is received when testing network settings: "\\DISKSTATION\Ray_Private\Mexico_ray_documents_VV_replicated" is not accessible using the credentials entered. Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections and try again.

Every process on this workstation can access this NAS server. The credentials entered in ViceVersa ARE CORRECT!

I need some clue on how to make this work. I am dead in the water with this tool at this point as I have tried every trick including going back to downlevel release of ViceVersa.

This problem was solved by changing the network settings to "Connect using default user's credentials"

HOWEVER, please explain why on the first run of a profile, every file in the TARGET is REPLACED and ARCHIVED. In order to get a clean run, I MUST DELETE every file in the TARGET, and let ViceVersa copy every file from the SOURCE.

in spite of my difficulties getting everything back running on a crashed Windows 10 system, ViceVersa/VVEngine is the best option for the money. I once used a product named PeerSync, a good system but asking $1,400 a seat. Don't bother with AOMEI, a waste of $60.
