|
|
Hello there
ViceVersa Pro 3.0 - Build 3003 - (64-bit)
a simple question/answer combination (I hope !).
We have a single 'root' folder with 50,000 sub-folders all at the same sub-folder level. What I need to do is MOVE only the empty sub-folders ie those that have no files within.
> 'Root' folder >> Folder 1 = 0 files
> 'Root' folder >> Folder 2 = 10 files
> 'Root' folder >> Folder 3 = 20 files
> 'Root' folder >> Folder 50,000 = 0 files
so folders named '1' and named '50,000' are to be moved as they are empty ie have no files in them.
Any idea how I do that using VV ? |

Hi Alice,
if you exclude all files with an exclude file filter *
then only empty subfolders are not excluded
and you should be able to move them to target with the Replication (Update) -> move method
I tested this on a small dataset and it worked. _________________ --
