Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to sync my normal daily sync target to a USB drive so I can take a copy of the data offsite. You can see I tried to exclude \RECYCLER\ but it made no difference.

I see you have compressed the source: **** Source: "D:\" (Compressed)
ViceVersa is halting because it finds files not compressed in source.
If you want to compress the files that are copied to the target (USB) activate compression only on target.
The settings in this case would be:
Computer 1:
Source (Computer) -> Target (USB) compressed
Execution Method: Synchronization
Computer 2:
Source (Computer) -> Target (USB) compressed
Execution Method: Synchronization _________________ --

Thanks, that did it. I'm really not sure why I set compression at all since the drive is already in a compressed mode (NTFS).
VV is a great program and has simplified my backup processes.
Thanks,
