source gets deleteted with VVengine

Hi
When I run a profile, as the same user as I run the VVengine service, everything works fine. The sync works and update the files needed.
When I load the same profile in VVengine and set up to monitor source and target, the source folders gets deleted the first thing that happens.

Why would this happen?

Hi, yes, it does not find all files....
I do not think this is a ViceVersa issue.

To check try this:

create a batch files that lists the content of a folder to a file , e.g.

dir <target? /s > output.txt

add this to run before execution in the profile settings (or after)

If the content is not listed properly then the issue is outside ViceVersa.

Mayne also try to use the UNC path directly instead of the mapped drive?

I know its a VV issue, since the when I run the profile thru VV it works and when I run it thru the service it doesn't. There fore I know VV (program) see all the files.

Y is mapped becouse that is a non domain share, its from a freestanding NAS. there fore the domain account dont have access to that folder.

I I cant seem to write the code to map that UNC path, IE
net use \\***.***.***.***\DNC /user:<username> <password>
then I would do that, and I could also mapp drives with differnt usernames, ie better security within the domain.
