I can sync folders on two laptops connected via a home Wi-Fi network, using:-

C:\DATA\ <TO> \\CF-53\DATA\ etc.

C: is the local folder 'DATA'. \\CF-53 is the same named folder shared on the other remote laptop.

On the other laptop I have an SD Card E: that I want to sync onto the local SD Card E:.

On the local network folder '\\CF-53' all the folders are displayed without their drive letter C:. The SD card E: is displayed as 'e' and like all the other remote folders can be accessed in Windows 7 or 10 Pro.

VV runs and completes all the remote C: folders, but fails the E: folder.

How do I specify other remote drive letters in VV?

Hi, you will need to "share" every folder you want to sync via a Windows Share, including the SD card.

I forgot to mention that the remote SD card can be accessed using normal folders. i.e. I can open a .txt file, edit it and save it.

It's only that VV does not work on the SD card with a Network Path: \\Cf-53\e as shown under the 'Sharing' tab using the method you suggested in the URL.

The remote SD card is shared, but not accessible by VV.

Network path names don't include the drive letter of the remote computer, so I guess that VV does not know what the drive letters are. Or is there a special syntax?

I guess that VV is taking 'e' as remote 'C:\e'.

Hi, can you open and save files to the SD card directly using Notepad? If Notepad "sees" the card and can work with it, then ViceVersa will too.
