|
|
I've used VV for backing up to many external USB drives without a problem. I never use C:\Users\..... for my data as Windows makes it a real mess, without any logical order. I use C:\DATA - This, C:DATA - That, C:\DATA - etc. So everything in sensible order.
However, many programs "hide" certain files under C:\Users\...
So I thought I would use VV on these folders. Then I would be able to know where programs had hidden new files at every run of VV.
The problem is that I get errors and no backing up.
Is this a Windows 7 Pro problem or do I need to do something special in VV? |

Hi, what error message are you getting? Maybe try running ViceVersa "elevated" as administrator, i.e. right click on ViceVersa and select "run as administrator", thanks _________________ --

This was the main problem. But a few files won't copy as in use by another program. I can live with that.
Many thanks. |
