[ERROR] Error scanning target folder. The filename or extension is too long.
Happens when scanning a target folder during compare.
\\?\ long filename support IS enabled on source and target locations.
Any ideas of the cause or how to get ViceVersa to skip to the next directory without aborting? |

What hardware / OS is behind the target folder giving this error? It might be that the OS or hardware itself does not support long paths, even if using \\?\ _________________ --

That's a good question! It's a mapped drive behind a https connection. I'll ask our corporate team to clarify.
It would be great though if VV could handle the error more gracefully with a "skip" option... maybe in a future build? |
