Sorry for not being very technically savvy - I am new to the program! - I have recently downloaded the trial, from a recommendation!
All I am wanting to do is 'Back Up' Photo Images to another internal drive and external drives. I have initially done this through the 'Synchronisation' option!
Going forward I have 4 Questions:
1) It seems that 'Backup' is more suitable for my needs than 'Replication (Update)' in that 'Backup' includes deletion of files from the 'Target' drives?
2) Do I also need the 'VV Engine' in order to just 'Backup' the additions and changes from the 'Source' to the 'Target(s)'?
3) Can you confirm that running a 'Backup' process, from a new 'Profile' of 'Source' to 'Target(s)' would just isolate the 'Updates' and 'New' files for inclusion in the process?
Leading to the question -
4) Does the 'Backup' process take as much time as the initial 'Syncronisation' that I have done, via the Trial, to create the inital 'Copy' files to the other drives?
Cheers

Hello,
thank you for evaluating ViceVersa.

Only use sync if changes are happening on both sides and need to be replicated in both directions. Backup is an exact mirror of the source to target including deletion, see:

VVEngine is an optional scheduler add-on, our most advanced scheduler, and profile manager, see:

Yes, correct. Also, deletions in the source are deleted in the target.

Yes, similar if all the files have to be copied over from source to target
