Hello,
We have been experiencing intermittent issues where our synchronization is stuck at "Copying to target...". It never recovers, so it can be running for days until we are notified and have to manually stop it, and then manually address any new files that were not sync'ed because the profile was stuck.
We are running ViceVersa 2.5 Build 2517 64bit, and VVEngine 2.1 Build 2106. And the configuration is as follows:
We have 2 "Source" servers (M1a and M1b) sync'ing between each other. And these 2 servers also sync to 3 "Destination" servers (P1, P2, and P3). So when a file changes on M1b, it would get sync to M1a, and P1, P2, and P3. Or when a file changes on M1a, it would get sync to M1b, and P1, P2, and P3. Each of these sync's are configured in separate profiles, and sometimes the profiles that sync to P3 will work, but the profiles that sync to P1 or P2 will become "stuck".
Is there something wrong with the way this sync'ing has been setup that would cause the profiles to be stuck "Copying to target"?
Thanks,
AC |

Hi AC,
what does the profile log show when ViceVersa getting stuck? Does it happen on a specific file?

The log does not indicate a file is actually being copied. Usually I see the file after the "Copying to target ..." line. But in this case, there is nothing. But I did check the server and there was a file that was changed around this "stuck" timestamp, but it is not the same file as other times.
I can send you the log file for this latest incident, if that will help?
Thanks,
AC |
