I know this is basic...but I hope someone will help me out. I have two files I want to turn into one. Both are large and contain subfiles. Some files appear in both files. I want to transfer all of the files that are not included in the larger file but are present in the smaller file into the larger file, making one file. At that point I can save space by deleted whatever is left in the smaller file.

Synchronization creates two very large files that overload my system. I want to know exactly how to move the files in the smaller file that are not included in the larger file into the larger file so I can delete all the files in the smaller file.

Thank you!

Are you referring to how to merge two folders containing many files and subfolders? In that case, you can compare the two folders in ViceVersa then select all single files that are in the smaller folder and copy them or move them to the larger folder.

Yes, I want to merge the folders into one folder. Your reply suggests there is no automatic way to do this, is this right? Once I compare the files, do I have to identify and select single files in the smaller folder individually? Or is there some way to select these as a group and then copy them to the larger file? Thanks for the help.

One of the replication methods could do this automatically, depending on your requirements, please see:
