Can I purchase one license and back two computers up to the one that has the license? These are all desktops in the same office. If two licenses are required do both go on the computer receiving the files? Most of the data is pretty much the same on both computers or at least should be.

Hi , it depends on which desktop you will install ViceVersa. If you install on on one desktop and pull data from other two then only one license. If you install on two and push data to one then two licenses. thanks

I am considering upgrading from VVPro 2.5 to V3. My 2.5 license allows me to install VVPRo 2.5 on up to 3 computers. The response to this post seems to say that a separate license for V3 is needed on every computer.

I have three computers and a NAS. I will need to run VVPro V3 profiles on all three computers. How many licenses do I need?

Thank you for your reply.

I am not sure we are communicating clearly. Please note that I am not the person (BruceF) who initiated this series of posts, and the configuration I have is different from his.

What I need to do is run one or more profiles on each of three computers. The profiles will synchronize data between the computers they are running on and the NAS (same NAS for all computers). I will not be synching from one computer to another. I am a home user and own all of the hardware, and it all runs on my home network.

I currently can do this with one license for V 2.5. Your response says I only need 2 V3 licenses. Your earlier response to BruceF implies that I need a separate license on any computer that is running profiles, so I don't see how to configure my situation with two licenses. And, I guess I will be distressed if I need to buy three licenses to do what I can do now with one.

Thanks for your help.

Hi, for ViceVersa PRO 3, each Win 10, 8, 7, XP license allows a user to run and install the software on up to 2 of her/his computers. In your case, with 2 licenses, you will be able to run and install ViceVersa on up to 4 of your computers, 1 license on up to 2 of your computers, thanks
