I'm trying to figure out what is either the maximum supported or suggested size of the file synchronization source\target for ViceVersa. We want to employ this software for mobile users on laptops that will sync files back to a network share via a VPN w/ a cellular wireless connection (~300k-500k). The current total size of files right now is 1 GB plus but is obvioulsy quite slow over the connection. The point where it is slowest is during the initial scan of the source\target when VV is looking for changes. Is there a way to speed this up maybe? What typical file\folder sizes does VV support?
Thanks! |

Hi, the scan of the target folder required to compare source and target cannot be avoided because ViceVersa needs to decide which files are changed in target. ViceVersa will support any file / folder size but it will take time over a a cellular wireless connection. _________________ --
