|
|
Hello,
As each of my various Profiles is executed (in a sequence from a Batch file) I notice in the "Profile execution" window that is displayed that the message "Unable to activate SeRestorePrivlidge on computer 'targetcomputer'" is displayed. This message does not appear in the log file and it seems that the Profiles are all running OK but I am concerned about what sounds like a "serious" mesasge.
Would you please explain what this is?
Thank you.

When you select to copy file and folder NTFS permissions, ViceVersa will try to activate the SeRestorePrivilege on the target computer/disk just in case some files have restricting permissions, eg the account running ViceVersa does not have access to the target files. Activating SeRestorePrivilege will bypass the permissions sets on file. In this case the warning is reporting that ViceVersa can not acquire that privilege. _________________ --
