|
|
I installed VV Pro3 b3000 64bit for evaluation, thinking about upgrading again. I have upgraded several times since adopting Vice Verca many years ago.
I am running Win7 HP.
I was running VV Pro2 with no problems.
.
VV Pro3 seemed to cause some voodoo-like problems and so I decided to go back to VVPro2 for the time being.
.
My method of going back to VV Pro2 was to uninstall all VV completely and and then re-install VV Pro2.
.
It won't uninstall. I used the programs own uninstall feature. It just keeps telling me that it cant proceed because VV is running - but I have not found it running anywhere. Same thing happens when I try to uninstall it by using the feature in Control Panel > 'Programs and Features'
.
The program still appears in Start > All Programs. It still launches.
.
Is it the timer for the evaluation which is running and stopping the uninstall - if so how do I stop it running?
.
If it is not the ViceVersa 'evaluation timer' running and stopping the uninstall then I can restore my system disk from an image file - but I have made changes since the image file was created and so it would involve work that I have no time for at the moment (I am not using Microsoft Restore). Is that my only option, to re-build my system disk? |
